The list on the website is current so if the program is not listed then it is not accredited by the JRCNMT.  The program may be housed in an accredited school, college or university but the nuclear medicine technology program has not obtained JRCNMT accreditation.

No, the JRCNMT does not rank programs.  There are too many types of programs and no effective way to create a valid and useful ranking system.

Currently both the NMTCB and ARRT will permit students from non-accredited programs to take their exam as long as the program is housed in a regionally accredited school, college or university.  The NMTCB has announced that in 2016 only students graduating from accredited programs may take their exam.

No, programs do not have to be at the baccalaureate degree level by 2015.  The Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM) issued a position statement suggesting that be the case but it is not a requirement.  Certificate and associate level programs will not be closing by 2015.

A degree mill is a questionable educational provider that offers degrees or certificates considered worthless by the professional community, often because the degree can be bought for little or no actual classroom and/or clinical education. Such educational providers may invent an accrediting agency to list on their website in an attempt to give legitimacy to the institution or program or they may have paid an accreditation mill to give them accreditation without any evaluation process. Always use online resources such as those available on the website of CHEA or the U.S. Department of Education to ensure the legitimacy of educational institutions and accrediting agencies.
